We hope to inspire both government and civil society, local and global, to contribute to the Decade of Action and Delivery with concrete actions that accelerate the achievement of the 2030 Agenda. This includes growing one’s own food, creating a community food forest, in collaboration with businesses and the local government, and showcasing permaculture as a universal, hopeful, regenerative model to achieve food security and the health and well-being of people and the planet.

WFWPI was co-founded by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and her late husband, Dr. Sun Myung Moon, in 1992 in Seoul, Korea. WFWPI aims to create an environment of peace and well-being for future generations and people of all races, cultures and religious creeds. The three areas of focus for the WFWPI Office for UN Relations in New York are Bridging Divides, Raising Young Leaders and Women and the Environment. WFWP contributed to the work of the United Nations efforts by contributing to the UN SDGs through 1,115 projects and programs in 97 countries, commemorating 49 International Observances and supporting 509 initiatives.
